Jack introduces the concept of love and power and leads the audience into a short singing meditation. He speaks of surrendering our will to the reality of the present moment while simultaneously being with that moment, and advises different styles of meditation. We’re then led through another guided meditation focused on loving awareness and presence as a way to help us apply spiritual practices to difficult situations in life. The audience then reveals their personal sigils to Jack as a method of revealing personal struggles and guideposts. Jack asks what kind of advice everyone has learned from Hanuman, and guides people along the path of including themselves in their circles of compassion. Our responsibility is to love the world, not to try to fix everything; to give up the pursuit of happiness for a moment and simply be happy in the moment. Jack concludes his talk with a guided meditation intended to help us cultivate and commit to personal bodhisattva vows.
